Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Scrum Master. The Scrum Master is the facilitator for the product development team that uses Scrum and allows a team to self-organize and make changes quickly. The Scrum Master will manage the process for how information is exchanged and acts as a facilitator for both the Product Owner and the team.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Outstanding problem solving skills
  • Ability to successfully pass a post-offer pre-employment drug test and background screen
  • Consulting experience required
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or comparable discipline
  • Certified Scrum Master (PSM, CSM) required
  • Strong understanding of backlog tracking, burn down metrics, velocity, and task definition
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
  • Servant-leader to core team members with regards to all facets of the Agile/Scrum framework
  • Facilitate of all aspects of the Scrum Framework, including sprint planning sessions, backlog grooming sessions, daily scrums, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives
  • Assist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition
  • Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices
  • Identify and remove impediments, prevent distractions, facilitate discussion and conflict resolution
  • Ensure the teams are practicing Agile principles
  • Empower the team to self-organize and self-manage
